Our Catholic Faith is a central theme in what we do. The Knights of Columbus provides aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Additionally, our charitable activities include an impressive variety of International, National and Local organizations and projects. Through our fund drives, Council 15 provides support to Unified Sports, Best Buddies, The ARC, Special Olympics, Salvation Army and others. We, also, lend a helping hand to organizations such as Bread for Life and Habitat for Humanity.
Through the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, the Knights were born in 1892 through Connecticut Legislation. Our founding principles include charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.
